Tough Sheet Method (R)
Tunnel lining repair method using ultraviolet-curing FRP sheets.
The Tough Sheet Method involves attaching a tough sheet to the existing lining surface of a tunnel to prevent the detachment of concrete fragments and other materials. The tough sheet is soft and easy to handle before curing, and it cures after being exposed to ultraviolet light for about 20 minutes once applied to the construction area.
